05 Dec Accompany for Gmail is Here!
In addition to our UK beta and a fresh round of funding, we’ve also got something completely new to share. Today we’re launching Accompany for Gmail, a brand new Chrome extension that adds the magic of Accompany to your Gmail.
Accompany for Gmail lives on the right hand side of your Gmail, and auto-populates with information about the people in your inbox every time you open an email. Even for emails with a long list of CC’d recipients, Accompany will pull in data on each and every one of them. Just roll over any name to find out about that person’s background as well as key information on their company including recent news, financials, and funding history. At a glance, you’ll be able to get a sense of which messages require an immediate response and which emails can wait until your day slows down.
In addition to showing you information on people unfamiliar to you, Accompany for Gmail will also surface any past emails that may be buried in your email archives, so you’ll always remember the last time you spoke even if your last conversation was over a year ago. Just like our iOS and web apps, Accompany for Gmail also supports notes so you can jot down any important information while the email is open. Whether they’re working on a big deal, training for a marathon, or have a son or daughter applying to university, Accompany will remind you the next time an email from them lands in your inbox so you don’t forget to ask how things are going.
You can download Accompany for Gmail from the Chrome extension store today. We’re excited to hear what you think! If you’re not already an Accompany user, you can get started by requesting an invite using the fancy button below. See you soon!
